Annotation:
This is not your normal Disney version of Rapunzel. With a nice adventurous twist Rapunzel sets out to escape the clutches of  Mother Gothel and free her real mother from the slave laborious mining camps.

Book Talk:
Rapunzel has always had the confines of the villa to keep her safe and warm BUT what is behind that dreaded wall? And why does she keep having this dream about another family again and again? With determination and the hope to finally find out what is being hidden from her, Rapunzel makes a more than daring move to climb the wall in the garden. With nobody looking and a bit of rope she finally scales the wall and sees the most horrific site. She then meets her real mother and realizes that she has been taken away from the family she once knew. Upon finally figuring out the truth, Mother Gothel sentences Rapunzel to solitude in a hollowed out tree in the forest. With days, months, and even years to conjure up a plan, Rapunzel finally sets out for revenge!

Teen Voice:
